We are delighted to introduce our latest collaboration with Nicole Walker – a stylist, curator and creative director whose work exists between fashion, art and image-making. Together with the Swedish production company XV Production based in Borås, we’ve developed a unique top made entirely from stockings.
Nicole’s visual language is shaped by duality, character and cultural friction, often exploring identity through an androgynous lens. Whether working on fashion imagery, exhibitions or multidisciplinary projects, she is drawn to the psychological tension that turns a look into a living presence.
Nicole doesn’t begin with concepts – she begins with obsessions. A material, silhouette, person or feeling can become the starting point for a project, which she then follows instinctively. Transformation is the common thread throughout her practice. She is interested in shifting the way something is perceived, and in the tension between beauty and discomfort, fragility and strength, the familiar and the uncanny.
Her work moves fluidly between fashion, art and design. “Fashion is a material, design is a way of solving problems, and art is a way of asking questions,” she explains. This openness has led to collaborations with artists including Yung Lean, Bladee, Ye and Bianca Censori, as well as photographers and publications such as Kaleidoscope Magazine, Interview Magazine and 032c.
This same curiosity brought her to Swedish Stockings. Stockings have always been part of Nicole’s styling, artistic practice and everyday life. She is fascinated by their contradictions – traditionally feminine yet sensual, fragile and, ultimately, something she simply loves to wear.

Working with Swedish Stockings and XV Production became an opportunity to explore these contradictions through material. “I like when a material forgets what it’s supposed to be,” she says. The collaboration reimagines hosiery as something unexpected, while reflecting a shared interest in circularity and finding new possibilities within existing materials.
The resulting piece is playful, sensual and versatile, designed to be wrapped and worn in different ways. For Nicole, there is something especially fun about creating “a little bow made from a pair of stockings.” Ultimately, she hopes whoever wears it feels sexy, confident and perhaps inspired to wear it on a very cute date – and make out all night.
